Where this work takes you
Newborn weeks with more sleep, more hot food and less second-guessing in them. You get looked after while you learn your baby, and that learning happens faster and kinder with someone steady nearby.
This is a good fit if

- Family live far away, or help that actually helps is thinner on the ground than you'd hoped

A quick call or message about what your days look like and where the pinch is: sleep, feeding, food, or simply another adult in the house.

Visits that fit
Three hours or more at a time, one-off or a weekly slot. Every visit starts with how you are, and then I make myself quietly useful.
Every session includes
- Feeding support and newborn know-how, judgement-free however you feed
- Your baby held and settled while you sleep, shower or simply sit still
- Light housework, laundry folded and a hot meal on the table
- A kind, honest ear for how it's actually going

Asked before booking
Do you only work with tiny babies?
Mostly the first three months, but there's no cut-off. If your baby is six months old and the wheels are coming off, that's a perfectly good reason to call.
Why the three-hour minimum?
Because in less than that I'd barely have the kettle boiled and the baby settled before leaving again. Three hours is enough time for you to genuinely rest, and there's no minimum number of visits: some families book one, some keep a weekly slot for a season.
